Maritime Pirates "It's A Pirate Sign Language Show"™

The Maritime Pirates Family Show is now being written for friends and families that are deaf or hearing impaired.  Musical interpretation will be changed into ASL poetry.  Special new ideas will be added to make the experience different than how this program has been shown in the past.   This  project is one which the Captain himself has been planning for a long time.  To be able to translate this program for deaf kids and families.

In reality, the Captain is actor/producer, Mr. Jamie Davis.  Mr. Davis specializes in developing original family programs and has had some experience learning sign language.  As a kid, Mr. Davis attended All Angel's Church where in the basement of that church was Saint Anne's Church for the deaf.  In college he had friends who were learning sign at Rochester Institute Of Technology.  After college he had made several deaf friends that got him to learn how to interpret classic rock songs when he was the lead singer of a band called "The Hands Of Time".

Networks and partnerships are being developed to complete this new version of the Maritime Pirates.  Discussions are already underway with regional schools and organizations that serve the deaf community through the arts.  This show will not only involve interpreters but actual cast members who can sign interpretive ASL (American Sign Language).
